Pets or service animals are not allowed in Shrine cabins
No. The Shrine does not offer WiFi or high-speed wired internet access.
You may be able to get a signal on your phone and use your hotspot.
Signals can be weak and inconsistent.
Cell service is sporadic at the Shrine.
Sometimes you can pick up a signal near the front of the Lodge and Post Office Cabins.
A signal is less likely at the Little Flower and Jubilee Cabins - but you may get one on a clear day.
You can usually get a signal on the causeway, lawn and turn around by the office.
If you need to use a phone please feel free to come to the Office.

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit and debit cards.
Cancellation can be made 14 days in advance without charge. Your deposit will be returned to the card used to book the reservation.
If you cancel a reservation within 13 days of your planned arrival date, you will forfeit your deposit.
Yes. Cleaning the cabin helps guests contribute to the mission of the Shrine. It also keeps costs down and frees up money to maintain the cabins and grounds.
Shrine cabins are run like a hostel. All guests are required to clean the cabin upon departure.
When you arrive, there will be a welcome sheet with a convenient checklist for cleaning the cabin. All cleaning supplies and tools are provided.
Fires are not allowed on the Shrine Campus.
No smoking is allowed in or near Shrine cabins or facilities.
To make a reservation for a cabin you have to be over 21 years of age.
Anyone under 21 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Persons under 21 may not be left in cabins unattended.
The Little Flower and Jubilee have parking next to the cabins.
You can drop off your bags at the Lodge and Post Office cabins, but then need to move your cars to the main parking lot.
Parking is free.
Cabins have kitchens for guests to prepare their meals.
The Shrine does not have a central restaurant or dining area. The closest place to get a bite to eat is Auke Bay, approximately 11 miles.
No. You'll need to pick up your groceries up before coming out to the Shrine for an overnight.
Several supermarkets and a Costco are located in Juneau with the closest being 12 miles from the Shrine.
The Shrine is a place of quiet reflection and is not the best venue for a party.
Family gatherings, birthday celebrations, and group meetings are welcome when held within a cabin.
Picnics and small groups are also welcome on the Shrine Campus.
