The Lodge

Located at the center of the campus, at sea level, the Lodge is the largest of our cabins, sleeping up to 24 guests with a fully equipped kitchen and cozy living space for your stay in Juneau, Alaska.

The Lodge is the oldest building on the campus, built from local timber in 1933 and renovated in 2013. It is located on the lower part of the campus, overlooking the causeway.

Rooms and Beds

10 Bedrooms, Sleeps 24

  • Ten bedrooms have 24 twin beds, single twins, and bunk beds
    • Two bedrooms on the main floor – 3 twin beds and one bunk bed
    • Eight bedrooms on the second floor – 5 twin beds and seven bunk beds

3 Bathrooms

  • Main floor bathroom has toilet, sink, and roll in shower with seat
  • Two on the second floor with toilet, sink, and shower (no bathtubs)

Linens, $15 per person

Linens are available for an additional charge of $15 per person (or you can bring your own). If you order linens, your sheets will be provided, but beds are not made. You will have to make the beds yourselves upon arrival. Linens include: 

  • Pillow
  • Fitted sheet, top sheet, pillowcase
  • Bath towel, hand towel, washcloth
  •

Kitchen

  • 2 stoves with ovens 
  • 2 refrigerators/freezers
  • Microwave
  • Pots, pans, sheet pans, cutting boards, etc.
  • Cooking and serving utensils
  • Charcoal BBQ grill located outside

Dining Room

  • Folding tables with seating for up to 24 guests
  • Tablecloths
  • Serving tables
  • Cabinet with dinnerware for 24+ guests,  including plates, bowls, cups, flatware
  • Coffee pots, Keurig, electric kettle

Living Room

  • Couch, loveseat, recliners and easy chairs
  • Gas fireplace

Front Porch

  • All-weather patio chairs

Parking

  • All vehicles must be parked in the main parking lot.
  • You are welcome to drive your car down to the Lodge to unload your vehicles and then park them in the main parking lot.

Rules and Cleaning

  • Summer rates are in effect May 1 – September 30, and winter rates are in effect October 1 – April 30.
    • Summer bookings require a two-night stay.
  • The Lodge is rented as a unit; rooms are not rented on an individual basis.
  • You are responsible for cleaning the Lodge by 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
