The Shrine is a place of deep spiritual experience. The peace and tranquility of this holy ground opens hearts and minds to Jesus' presence. Holy Mass, Weddings, Funerals, and Retreats are central to the apostolate of the Shrine. Through the Sacraments and spiritual activities at the Shrine souls are moved closer to Jesus. It's all about Jesus.


Holy Mass

Holy Mass is celebrated at 1:30 pm each Sunday from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Mass in honor of the feast day of St. Therese is held annually on October 1st. All Souls Day Mass is celebrated annually on November 2nd. Christmas Eve Mass is held at 10 p.m.. Carols begin at 9:30 p.m.

Requiem Masses and Memorial Services

When it is time to say goodbye to a loved one who has passed into Eternal Life, the National Shrine Chapel is available for Christian funeral and memorial services. The purpose of the National Shrine of St. Thérèse Columbarium is to provide a place of rest for the cremated remains of those who wish to be inurned on these holy grounds. We believe in the resurrection and inurnment at the National Shrine implies a similar belief on the part of the deceased.
